I need information on Job Corp.?

Hi, my name is Chrystian.. I'm considering entering Job Corp this August, but need a bit of Information on it, that the official Job Corp website does not provide. Firstly, I'll be 16 this August, so I'm old enough. I'm supposed to be in 10th grade this year but dropped out two years ago... I've dealt with a lot this last year, and am ready to get my life together and get back on track. I want as much info as you can give please. It means a great deal to me because I will be moving 5 hours away from my family, and it will be difficult for me to get used to all of the changes. The number one question I'd like you to answer is: How long does Job Corp last? Like does it go by semester or year round? How many people will live in the same dorm as you? Do you share restrooms/showers with other people? Another important question. How often can you leave a month or whatever to visit your family? Or can they come to the dorm and visit you? Finally, how long average does it take to get your ged/high school diploma? I don't expect this to be a piece of cake.. I just would like to know. Any other information you can provide would be great. Thank you.
