ENGLISH GCSE NOTES - Of Mice And Men (HELP) !!?

I'm sitting my English literature exam on the tenth of this month based on the novel 'Of mice and men' by John Steinbeck and I'm worried. I've been advised to revise five notes on all of the characters and themes but what quotes should I use? I can't really do anything about the poem section because I wont know which ones they are until the actual examination, and I'm meant to write an essay on the novel so basically i'm running out of time and I need to sort out what to revise, any suggestions?
